Mitchel P. Sham
Mitchel Sham is a microbiology student at The Ohio State
University and a member of the university’s prestigious
Biological Sciences Scholars Program. With a passion for
the intersection of biology and pharmaceutical innovation,
he currently conducts research at the University’s Yalowich
Lab.
Outside the lab, Mitchel serves as the secretary of the
American Society for Microbiology’s student chapter,
where he helps connect future scientists through public
engagement and academic programming.
When he’s not immersed in science, he’s likely on the
soccer field, volunteering in his community, or crafting
newsletters that translate complex biology into clear,
compelling stories. This is his first book.
