Medicare Part C is also known as Medicare Advantage and acts like
an HMO for Medicare participants. You must have Medicare Part A and
Part B to participate in Medicare Part C.

               Medicare Part D
Medicare Part D is the prescription drug program enacted by
President Bush in 2003. Depending on the prescription drug provisions
of your FEHB, you may not need this coverage. As long as you have
some prescription coverage within your FEHB, you are allowed to pick
up Medicare Part D during any open enrollment without a penalty.
