Activity

Make different posters pasting pictures of different animals to show: big animals
with hair or fur, small animals with wings and six legs, medium size animals – one
half showing animals with hair or fur, and the other half showing animals with
scales and shell and feathers.
Display the posters and assess the students’ knowledge on the same. Ask them to
talk about their pets and the animals in their poster or any favourite animal. Also
note if any child talks about an animal not being seen but has placed a picture of
the same. Let each student of each group come to the front and talk about his/ her
poster: the name of the animals, body covering, food they eat.
