Plant parts can be processed into certain food: Food processing

The flour we buy to make bread, is processed. First, the wheat grains are
ground in a mill to produce flour. The flour is mixed with other ingredients
and baked in an oven to make the loaf we buy in the shop. This is an example
of simple food processing.

Every food we buy in a packet, bottle, box or tub is processed.
