Before tightening the knot, take the working end
back through the overhand. Tighten the knot by
pulling on the loop with one hand and the
working end and standing part with the other
hand.
Heaving Line Knot
A LARGE STOPPER KNOT THAT ADDS CONSIDERABLE
WEIGHT TO THE END OF A ROPE
Heaving Line Knot: Step 1
Form a loop in the working end of a rope. Bring
the working end over the standing part and back
under the loop.
