My first work experience was
being a Call Center Agent. I
have to admit that it was a
challenging journey and a roller
coaster ride for me since it was
my first time working and I'm
lucky enough to work in a BPO
industry. I was a Bachelor of
Arts in Communication back
then and it was a bit of an
advantage for me because of my
communication skills.
Before working there, I doubt
myself always especially when
there's a recitation in our class.
I typically stutter whenever I
talk in english in front of the
class and I was not able to tell
my thoughts because I don't
want to commit a mistake.
When I am working for almost
three months in the company,
my communication skills were
enhanced, I have been proud
of myself because I exceeded
from my limitations and
boundaries, and most
importantly, I gained
confidence. That was the prize
I got that I have been holding
on until now.
It is something that I can
carry for a long period of time
and it is what I need for me to
be able to explore, learn new
things, and find a new job.
Never be afraid of trying and
committing mistakes, it's your
way to the future.
