You've just turned 58
You're a wonderful sister
Our friendship has been great!

We've shared a lot of laughter
We've also shared some tears
I cherish many memories
Of vacations over the years.

On your birthday, know I love you
And I wish for you the best
Remember that dear sister
When you have read the rest.

I had planned a seafood dinner
To celebrate our day
But you've made your plans with Leslie
You're not coming Saturday.
I'm really disappointed
I thought our plans were set
But I didn't remind you
So I guess thats what I get!

I'm extending you a rain check
We will plan another time
But instead of seafood pasta
I'll be serving cheese and wine.

All kidding aside, I love you
And I know that you love me
I wish for you a birthday
Thats as happy as can be.

I made per your request
My ribbing about Saturday
Has all been done in jest.
