                                                                                                                                            A GREAT DESSERT FOR GUESTS WHEN CELEBRATING A HAPPY OCCASION


                                                                                                                                              Preparation time: 10 minutes         You will need:
                                                                                                                                              Cooking time: 20 minutes
                                                                                                                                              Serves 6                              1 cup vermicelli
                                                                                                                                                                                    1 tbsp ghee
                                                                                                                                                                                    1-2 cups milk
                                                                                                                                                                                    ½ cup sugar
                                                                                                                                                                                    1 cup fresh cream
                                                                                                                                                                                    2 tbsp chopped almonds

                                                                                                                                          1 Fry the vermicelli in the ghee on a low heat until it turns light brown in colour.

                                                                                                                                          2 Add milk to this and stir. Bring to the boil and add the sugar.

                                                                                                                                          3 Simmer for 2-3 minutes to allow the milk to thicken and the vermicelli to swell up. Add the
                                                                                                                                          cream, stirring all the time. As the mixture thickens add the almonds.
