Continuous Professional Development

At EPG we pride ourselves in our Teachers having access to
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) throughout the year. As
the year progresses we monitor all our teachers to ensure that they

know now to teach the EPG way. Our curriculum and programme is
specifically designed to allow children to use English for all purposes
by the end of FS2, along with a general high level of success in all
EYFS Curriculum areas. In order to do this we must ensure that all
our staff are knowledgeable in current early years research and best

practice. Recently our teachers have been studying Developmentally
Appropriate Practice and also how to best support all children in their
class based on their individual needs. Our focus is always on the
children, and to how to best challenge and scaffold their individual
learning journeys. We thank all our teachers who attended this
lengthy course (six modules) and are excited to see how they bring
their studies to life in the classroom.
