October 23 and 24 Carson Fall Draft Horse Sale and Futurity Exhibition, Listowel: The busy Fall
schedule continues! This year’s Sale Weekend will have some new experiences - the OPHA will host a Draft
Horse Social Dinner @ Listowel Fair Grounds on Friday Evening. (more information on page *). We wish
to express to David and Margo Carson and staff a huge Thank You for all that has been provided to the
OPHA Team over the years and how well we are treated and accommodated both at the Spring and, Fall
Sales and special sales as they occur.
November 6, 7, 13 and 14 Royal Winter Fair, Toronto: The season will come to an end at the RAWF.
We will attend on Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th, returning for Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th.The
Team will be located in Row E West, directly beside the show ring in the Horse Palace (where we have been
the past two years). This location offers great exposure to large traffic patterns coming and going from the
show as the aisle leads to public transportation services. The RAWF is an outstanding Horse Show, more so
now with the addition of THE MARE SIX HORSE HITCH, and an opportunity to Christmas shop at the
OPHA promotional booth. Thanks to the RAWF with this location we have been afforded the opportunity
to promote, educate and present our breed to large crowds as they pass thru the Horse Palace.
In closing, we will be attempting to provide to the editor prior to publication , photographs of some of this
year’s inventory and also posting it on the website (ontariopercherons.ca) offering you our Members the
opportunity for inspection or to plan ahead for your visit to booth . Ellen and I and Judy would like to thank
you all for how well we are received across the Province and the opportunity you allow us to serve
