oday we cross the border into
TBosnia & Herzegovina and make
our way to the historic capital,
Sarajevo. A vibrant city full of history
and Turkish heritage, it is often
called the ‘Jerusalem of Europe’.
As we cross the border and get
further into Bosnia we see the
remnants of the past conflict with
bombed houses and overgrown
properties deserted by the farmers
after the conflict.

We stayed in the Hotel Bosnia in the
heart of Sarajevo and within walking
distance of the “Eternal Flame”and
other points of interest.
