Santa Cruz – Lima, Peru
Up at 06:00 breakfast and bags out by 07:30, we decide not to do the “Panga - Dingy” ride along the
cliff edges - good decision said others sitting on side of “Zodiac” only thing we missed was seeing the
Fur Seals. We leave our cabin at 09:00, and sit out on the rear deck while the ship cruises through the
Itabaca Channel with its turquoise waters before reaching Baltra Island where our cruise ends.
We disembarked at 10:15 then Zodiac to dock and rough bus ride to airport. The plane was delayed
and we didn’t depart until about 12:45. The original plan was to have a tour of Guayaquil during the
stop over, but due to the delay we only had a 2 hour wait for our flight to Lima. Luckily we all decided
not leave the airport as some of the group were called to customs for random bag search, whilst
waiting for flight.
We eventually reach our hotel around 22:15.
