Alice Springs - Uluru
oday we depart Alice Springs and travel
Tthrough the West MacDonnell Ranges to
Ayers Rock Resort, our accommodation for
the next two nights.
In the afternoon we tour the base of Uluru in
comfort as our Driver/Guide provides
commentary about the numerous sacred sites
and features to be found at Uluru.
We continue by coach to the Kuniya Walk
where we are escorted on foot to the beautiful
Mutitjulu Waterhole. There were Aboriginal
rock paintings to see and we learnt about the
area as our Guide pointed out some native
flora and explains the Aboriginal and
European history of Uluru.
Later we visited the Uluru – Kata Tjuta

Aboriginal culture and see Aboriginal arts and
crafts.
