nother free day to explore Darwin , and
Atoday is hot again, so after breakfast we
don our cosies and head for the hotel pool to
cool off.
We decide to have a ‘pub lunch’ and walk to
the nearby Shenanigans Irish pub for a Pizza
and Guinness/wine.

Saturday 16th March
Darwin to Alice Springs
n early wake up this morning for our 6
AO’clock flight to Alice Springs.
On arrival at Alice Springs Airport we are
transferred to our hotel, with time just to put
our bags in the room and freshen up a bit
before re-boarding the coach for a tour of the
sights of ‘The Alice’ including the School of the
Air and the Alice Springs Reptile Centre,
where saw some of the lizards and snakes of
Central Australia’s semi-arid desert, such as
the Perentie Lizard and the Thorny Devil.
