Meet Bruce, our Outdoor Recreation Leader and driver, at the west end of the Thornton Active Adult Center parking lot (11181
Colorado Blvd.) Van departs at 7 a.m. for September Trips and 8 a.m. for October and November Trips. Hike return times will
vary from week to week depending on various factors.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and trail conditions including hiking boots and a day pack with your lunch, snacks,
plenty of water and anything else you may need on the trail.

TRIP REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Thornton residents may register beginning at 8:30 a.m. and nonresidents beginning at 9:30 a.m.

You must cancel by the end of the registration period to receive a full refund. Cancellations after the registration
period will be given a refund if your spot is sold. All refunds are subject to approval by the program coordinator.
HIKE REGISTRATION INFORMATION
No refunds are given for hikes cancelled less than two full business days before the departure time. A $5 fee is
charged for all other cancellations.
Registration for all fall hikes will begin on Tuesday, August 13, 8:30 a.m. for residents and 9:30 a.m. for nonresidents.
Register online at goCOT.net/registration (requires initial proof of residency) or walk-in registration at the Active Adult
Center or Trail Winds Active Adult Center. No refunds are given for hikes cancelled less than two full business days
before the departure time. A $5 fee is charged for all other cancellations. Please see page 58 for more information.
