The first and natural things to do after the arrival were surely to eat and sleep
(rest) rightaway. Without prior notice and against the normal practices of most of our
people the unpredictable and unprecedented occasion did take place. Our host and
the surrounding neighbours demanded NJE and the Wandouw team to perform a ‘mini
crusade’ for them in that house. At first the team rejected the request since everybody
was so extremely tired after the long, tiresome and horrible journey we had just
passed. But their demand did not cease even became stronger and more frequent. The
democracy principle stopped to work and it became useless in such situation.
Nevertheless we saw the hungriness of words of God, the real longing for Holy Spirit
touching. This had become the most tiring and demanding night but the minicrusade
had to be implemented for the sake of God’s Kingdom. In this case acting as the
