Who We Are
Together Women Rise is a powerful community of
women and allies dedicated to achieving global gender
equality. We are a U.S.-based nonprofit with chapters
across the country and partners all over the world.
We believe that women’s rights are human
rights, and every woman and girl deserves the
opportunity to live freely, pursue her dreams, and
reach her full potential.
All over the world, inequality, oppression, and
exploitation hold women back, and women living
in extreme poverty face even more barriers. These
barriers also stand in the way of broader community
and societal success. Empowered women invest in
their families and communities, lifting themselves out
of poverty and helping to create a healthier, safer,
more peaceful, and economically just world
for everyone.
