Our Work

Learning

For change to happen, more people need to be
aware of the barriers facing women and girls and
how gender inequality impacts our world. We engage
in learning to increase understanding of the issues
facing women and girls in low-income countries, to
build our community, and to fuel our collective action.

Giving

We provide grants to organizations making life-
changing differences for women and girls in low-
income countries. We fund a range of projects related
to maternal and child health, girls’ education and
empowerment, preventing gender-based violence, and
supporting women-led businesses, to name just a few.

We also partner with other organizations to address
the root causes of inequality: social and cultural
norms, beliefs, practices, and laws that hold women
back from achieving their full potential.
