Pray for the brothers and sisters who serve in the worship team, that God will bless them
with wisdom to serve faithfully, that our worship will be pleasing to God. Pray for Bro. Wenn
Hong as he leads this department.

4. Pray for the weekend ministries
Pray for the speakers this coming Sunday: Pray for the worship team and the online team
that the online services will run smoothly. Pray for all the bible study classes via zoom. Pray
for all Sunday school classes, that the Lord will bless and guide them in their lessons. Pray for
Pr. Lai’s Baptist history class, that God will guide him in his preparation so that he may be
able to teach well.

5. Pray for the needs of the members
Pray for Mrs Cheah’s recovery, whether physically or spiritually. Remember the old sisters:
Ying Ngoh, Lydia Chin, and old Mrs Choo and Mrs Fong who are in the old folks’ home. Pray
for Shanti’s knee pain, that God will give her strength to care for her elderly father. Also for
her newborn granddaughter, who is hospitalized for breathing difficulty. May the Lord bless
her with good doctors and medical care.

Prayer Items for May 2021 禱告事項

1. Pray for the Covid situation:
May God grant our government the wisdom to tackle the rising covid cases in this
month of fasting, so that effective measure can be taken to improve the situation. May God
help the frontliners in the hospitals that are under great strain due to the increase of
workload. Pray that the vaccines be effectively distributed and that the people have enough
confidence to receive the vaccines. Also pray for the elderly who are receiving their
vaccinations, that they will be protected from any bad effects. Many schools have been closed
or affected due to covid infections, and students have to study online. Pray for the parents in
our church who are similarly affected, such as Regis Tan, Amy Tan, Oliver Wong and Caleb
Choo’s families.
The economy is also affected by the pandemic. May God have mercy.
