DISCONTINUATION OF ATTENDANCE
When the child is ready to attend primary education or a parent elects to discontinue their childcare placement, it is a requirement that four (4) weeks written notice (by email or letter) to the Service Director, is provided.
When notice has been given to withdraw or discontinue a child’s placement and where the parent is eligible for government payments (CCS or other government funding), any absentee days where the child does return to the service prior to withdrawal date will not be eligible for government payments. Discover My World has no control over this decision as this is covered by the government’s childcare funding policy.
