Sheena: There were many inventors of computers. The first analytical computer was

invented by Charles Babbage in the 19 century.

Jun: I bet it looked way different than what we see today.

Sheena: That’s correct! Babbage invented it to solve complex numbers easily.

Jun: What did he call his invention?

Sheena: He named it Analytical Engine.

Jun: If its made to solve complex numbers, then how was it different from a

calculator?

Sheena: The Analytical Engine is a big computer

while the calculator is a small device.
