Evidence Write an Opinion Blog Entry
PROMPT
T.J. the Siberian Tiger Cub is a true story about a tiger cub born at the
Denver Zoo. Many people worked hard to help him survive after his
mother died.
Imagine that you write for the Denver Zoo’s website. You have been asked
to write about T.J. and his caregivers. Write a paragraph or two to tell what
you think about his care based on the selection. What is the most
important, or central, idea you want to tell readers about T.J.’s care? What
part seems most difficult to you? What part seems like fun? Give reasons
to support your opinion. Don’t forget to use some of the Critical
Vocabulary words in your writing.
