Evidence Write a Story Scene
PROMPT
In Flora & Ulysses, you read about an unusual set of events that results in an
equally unusual friendship between a girl and a squirrel.
Imagine that you and Flora are good friends. Use information from Flora &
Ulysses to write a new scene from the story that tells what Flora would say to
you about her friendship with Ulysses. Don’t forget to use some of the Critical
Vocabulary words in your writing.

Write notes about important events that tell about Flora and Ulysses.
Then write numbers next to the notes to show the order in which the
