Lesson  3

               Digital Cameras

                                                                  I am fond of the sights of Korean
                                                        streets. Red chili peppers are strewn on

                                                        summer streets to dry, fat persimmons
                                                        hanging on branches are so overburdened

                                                        that they threaten to break, the multi colored
                                                        neon lights of the metropolis are reflected

                                                        on he night water, elaborately festooned tem-

               ples from an ancient past are placed with great tranquility in the heart of a
               modern city, and lovely pagodas are bordered with cherry blossoms. I capture

               them all with my digital camera.
                       On a day, I would stroll lazily around my neighborhood taking in the scene.

               I see couples lolling in the park, just letting the day go by. Leaves are sailing;
               riding on magic carpets of mini-whirlwinds. Moreover, flowers in vibrant colors

               are soaking in the rich rays of the summer sun. Grass like an orchestra is wav-
               ing to the masterful baton of summer symphony which only nature could hear.

               My camera captures the reality of the moment and preserves it for posterity.
