No one is sure how people get type 1
diabetes. I didn’t know I had diabetes
until I was five. At that time, I was
hungry and thirsty all the time. I ate
snacks between my snacks; nevertheless,
I got skinnier and skinnier. I was also
tired a lot because I wasn’t getting
enough energy from my food.
