Shopper: Hi. I’m looking for a shoe that is somewhat elegant, sexy yet eminently wearable. I
want a perfect fit for my feet and personality.
Saleslady: Is that so, Madam? In that case, maybe you could tell me exactly the kind of skin that
you are looking for so I could give you some great brands.
Shopper: I definitely love something that is exotic, like a reptile print or snakeskin with slinky
gold chain.
Saleslady: I see, I think I have just the perfect brand for you here at Designer Shoes. How about
an Anne Klein, Ma’am?
Shopper: I think that is a good brand. Can you lead me to Anne Klein’s shoe line? I want to see
their shoes. I was also wondering if I’ll be able to bring home a pair of Anne Klein since my
shoe size is a bit bigger than the usual size for women.
Saleslady: That’s not a problem, Ma’am because Designer Shoes works with Anne Klein to carry
the largest selection of hard-to-find sizes and widths. We also offer shoe styles in sizes 9 to 10
narrow (N); and 10.5 to 12 medium (M) to 15 wide (W).
Shopper: That is very nice! Would that mean I could have a pair of this black Rachel?
Saleslady: Absolutely, Madam. You have come to the right shoe shop. Let me guess; your shoe
size is 14.0 or 15.0 and its width is WW, am I right? Do not worry Madam; we have your size. I
told you that you have come to the right shop. Well, it is originally $280.00 but since we have
a 32% off, it has now made available for only $89.99.
Shopper: What? You are kidding. That is a fancy shoe and obviously a great brand.
Saleslady: No, I’m not. We are actually on our fall 2008 sale that is why you can buy your pair of
shoes at an affordable price.
Shopper: That’s very nice to hear. In that case I would like to buy a sandal from Victoria’s Secret
too. I’ve seen the Colin Stuart Chandelier thong sandal worth $49, the blue Icon by Gwyneth
worth $139 and the $99 Ankle strap platform sandal at Guess by Marciano. How much would
those 4 shoes cost? That will cost me $376.99, right?
Saleslady: Absolutely Madam, the total is $376.99. Should you pay on cash or card?
Shopper: I will pay cash. Please show me the way after fitting my shoes, ok. Thank you.
