Evidence Write a New Scene
PROMPT
In Living Green three friends work together on a school project about caring for the
environment. In the process they gain a new understanding of how their actions affect
the planet.
Write a new scene for the play in which the girls present their poster to the class and
explain what they learned about their mindset and behavior. Write the new scene in
script format, including character names, dialogue, and stage directions. Think about
text evidence as you write what the characters would say and do. Don’t forget to use
some of the Critical Vocabulary words in your writing.
