In Children of the Great Depression, you read about what it was like to grow up during
the Great Depression. The text described the hardships of the time, but it also included
information about what children did for fun.
Imagine you were a child who lived during the Great Depression. What would you
want future generations to understand about the hardships you faced—and the fun
you had? Write an imaginary letter to future generations to tell them about your
