Evidence Write a Memoir
PROMPT
In Running Rivals, you read about two rivals who became friends and
helped each other. Both Amy and Madison improved their performance
by learning from each other.
Imagine you are Amy, and you are writing a chapter in your memoir about
your relationship with Madison. Describe ways the two of you are alike
and ways you are different. Explain what you learned from Madison and
how training with her affected you. Remember to write as though you are
Amy, and try to use some of the Critical Vocabulary words in your writing.
