               Not a single Miss Waldron’s monkey has been seen for




        over 25 years. Between 1993 and 1999, scientists



        searched for the monkeys in the rainforest where they




        once lived. The scientists found no monkeys of that kind.




        Scientists do not expect to find any more Miss Waldron’s



        red colobus monkeys. So in 2000, they declared that the




        species is probably extinct.                                                                         Check
