לַ ְח ָמא ַענְיָא ִדי ֲא ָכלוּ ַא ְב ָה ָתנָא ְבּ ַא ְר ָעא ְד ִמ ְצ ָריִם. ָכּל ִד ְכ ִפיןיֵי ֵתי וְיֵיכֹל, ָכּל ִד ְצ ִריךְ יֵי ֵתי וְיִ ְפ ַסח. ָה ַשׁ ָתּא ָה ָכא, לְ ָשׁנָה ַה ָבּ ָאה ְבּ ַא ְר ָעא ְדיִ ְשׂ ָר ֵאל. ָה ַשׁ ָתּא ַע ְבדֵי, לְ ָשׁנָה ַה ָבּ ָאה ְבּנֵי חוֹ ִרין
Thisis the bread of affliction that our fathers ate in the land of Egypt. Whoever is hungry, let him come and eat; whoever is in need, let him come and conduct the Seder of Passover. This year (we are) here; next year in the land of Israel. This year (we are)
slaves; next year (we will be) free people. 9
