When cleaning everything in the house, whether it's clothes, toilets,
floors, glass, etc., you usually rely on special cleaning products from
various brands. What happens when you clean porcelain and ceramics
using materials aforementioned? Surely the porcelain and ceramics that

you clean will be sleek and clean, right? Did you know porcelain and
ceramic cleaners contain acid, namely hydrochloric acid (HCI) which is a
strong acid so that it can make the moss scale on porcelain and
ceramics lifted and can even damage the ceramics.

Some acid and base compounds are safe if they come into contact

with hands, even some types of acidic compounds are used in the
manufacture of foods such as vinegar acid. Likewise with alkaline
compounds, for example soap used for bathing is a compound that is
safe if it comes into contact with the skin. However, some other types of

acids or bases can cause burning if they come into contact with hands
or skin. This difference in properties is due to the strength of the acid and
base compounds vary.
