Song of the Apple Tree at
Imbolc
Come be with me and I will tell Of Imbolc's precious gift The spark of joy we so long for That gives all life a lift.
For winter has been long and hard And frost still grips my limbs
But hope now comes this Imbolc day That wakes me from within.
Oh feel all nature stirring After winter's sleep Sweet new life emerging Within the Earth's womb deep.
So celebrate with me my friend On this special day
The snowdrops sing their song of hope That spring is on its way.
