The UK Friends of University of Pretoria (UP)

Foundation, launched in February 2024, is a non-
profit organisation based in the UK. Our goal is to
provide support to UP in South Africa by raising
funds to provide scholarships, grants, and other

forms of assistance for students and faculties
at UP, as well as research projects to improve
conditions in South Africa and the broader African continent. This July, during ‘Mandela
Month’, we are launching a Giving Day Campaign, a crucial opportunity to raise funds

for UP students who lack financial support.
