         2020. NEP 2020 unambiguously calls

         reform  of  board/entrance  examina-
         tions.
           Consequently, NCFSE 2023 recom-
         mends that the new assessment sys-
         tem “shifts from one that is summative
         and primarily tests rote memorisation
         skills to one that is more regular and
         formative, is more competency-based,
         promotes learning and development
