Use the same technique of laying down
pink and purple for the next mushroom.

Next is to take a deeper red or purple
and shade the overlapping shadow of
the larger mushroom on the small one.
7 The last step is to focus on the background to make the
mushroom pop.Use blackcolour for the middle part of
the painting and as for the leaves use dark brown ,light
brown ,orange ,yellow and yellow ochre.Follow the
reference to make the leaves more prominent by making
6 sure the lighting is correct .
For the background i use watercolour
pencil because it has a softer graphite
therefore creating a seamless finish and
nicer blend with the background.
