4 6 Take a light brown pencil and shade in the
gills .Then take a darker brown pencil and
make the strokes of the gills .Use it for the
shadow on the stalk.Darker at the top and
lightly shade on the left .Use yellow for
the skirt of the mushroom .
This mushroom has a shiny cap.Lightly
shade purple from red to white areas.
Use a kneaded eraser to clean up the
white line in the middle of the mushroom
to show shine .

Lastly,for the bottom part of the stalk use
a mixture of light to dark browns but
shaded lightly just enough for the
5 shadows and the area around the

mushroom .

Mix dark red and purple for the top of the
mushroom and bottom while red and
orange for the middle part of the
mushroom .Take a dark brown pencil and
shade the under parts of the white spots
to show dimensions.
