6 Use a combination of regular and watercolour pencil.

Work in layers.
The third mushroom has a more whiter brim
therefore just lightly make a light shade When blending the colours together go the opposite direction of the previous
transitioning from dark to light. colour to make blending more smooth.
The gills are white but use blue to make the
shadows ,using black for shadow will make Use other colour rather than black to make it look realistic .
the artwork look muddy .
Use colour pencil for the outline instead of regular pencil so that it will blend
with the shading .

Faber castell tri colour pencil
faber castell watercolour pencil
eraser .

The last step is when working on an
artwork always step back after you feel
satisfied with the outcome ,this will give
you a new perspective on what is wrong .
You will need to retouch darker areas or take
an eraser and cleanup the highlight spots.
Add background base on your preference.
