TRAINING FOR VOCATIONAL
EDUCATION MANAGEMENT

Indonesia is one of the member countries of ASEAN that has entered the ASEAN
Economic Community (AEC). The realization of the AEC has brought significant opportunities
for selected workforce from various ASEAN member countries to become employed within
the ASEAN region. Educational institutions, particularly Higher Education (HE) institutions,
have the responsibility to produce skilled and independent workforce as demanded in the era
of the AEC. Enhancing the quality of education poses one of the challenges for HE institutions,
particularly vocational education, in order to enhance competent human resources to face
the AEC. In order to become a high-quality Higher Education institution, each study program
must also possess quality, as the quality of a Higher Education institution is determined by
the quality of its respective study programs.
