Page 30 - Faking the original Spare
P. 30
If Thomas truly believes this photograph is a normal photograph and not
faked in any way. I do not think the picture editor at The Mail on Sunday
agrees with him. Otherwise he would not have printed the cropped version.
The latest un cropped version instead of proving it is not a fake, proves
everything stated in my earlier research is true.
The new un cropped photograph displays the print has a boarder. It has been
my experience if you put a roll of film into a one hour photo lab you receive
a paper wallet of either 24 or 36 en prints along with the negatives. The en
prints are always borderless due to the machine enlarging the image from the
negative to match the width of the roll of photographic paper. Photographs
with boarders have to be hand created in a darkroom with a photographic
enlarger and are not available on a one hour turn around. Prints with boarders
are individually ordered and usually have a 3 to 5 day turn around.
