For the fourth of my five tableau’s and the brief was to create an image of a peaceful demonstration to

protect the environment. The Gilets Jaunes (Yellow Jackets or Yellow Vests) were originally a small

group of French lorry drivers who took to the streets wearing their safety jackets to demonstrate against
the rising fuel costs. The yellow jackets were soon to be warn by most demonstrators and became so

popular the French fashion houses started to include the design into their 2021 collections.

I begin with the background using exactly the same techniques as with tableau one However, I also
montage in a lake and a swan into the Concorde De Paris. Then I added demonstrators with montaged

human skull masks. The placards were all created and montaged to the demonstrators. Toxic waste, dead

swans, car and exhaust fumes were all created and added to the original image.
