MEMORIALS
The picture in the lower hall of the educational unit
was presented in memory of Rev. Edgar C. Mabe by the Young
People’s Council.
The church organ was given by Rev. and Mrs. Leslie
Caperoon in memory of her mother.
The communion table was given in memory of Rev. J. L.
MacDonald and wife by their children.
The brass cross on the communion table was given in
memory of Mrs. Bertha MacDonald Kensey by her husband, C.
C. Kensey, and family.
The pulpit was donated in memory of Isaac W. Pusey and
Mary J. Pusey, his wife, by their children and
grandchildren.
One of the pulpit Bibles was given in memory of William
J. Bounds and Ella Pusey Bounds, his wife, by their
children.
The brass communion set and offering plates were given
by Mrs. William A. Reynolds in memory of her father, George
A. Taylor.
The plaque on one choir loft bears the names of Mr. and
Mrs. Otis G. Rayne and was given by their children.
The other loft has the name of Mrs. Cordelia Powell.
This plaque was given by her daughter, Mrs. Kathryne P.
Laws.
Mrs. Willie Leake gave a brass vase in memory of her
husband, Francis G. Leake.
Mr. Albert J. Cook and family and Mr. and Mrs. William
Cort gave the runner on the lectern in memory of Mr. Cook’s
wife, Helen.
