                       Junior deacons began in 1972.

                       In 1972, the cost for perpetual care for cemetery lots
               was fixed at $100.00.

                       An electrical heating system was installed during the
               summer of 1974 at a cost of over $4,000, which was paid for
               without borrowing.

                       In 1975, the Church sent a donation for the upkeep of
               historic buildings at Cane Ridge, Ky.

                       Communion cup holders were installed on the sanctuary
               pews in 1976.

                       The National Center for Christian Studies on Education
               and Work come into being in 1975 with Keith E. Smith as
               director.

                       Two members of the Church, Emily B. Cherrix and Elsie
               M. Dryden, were honored on September 7, 1975 as having
               served the Church for 60 years. They, along with 17 others
               who had been members of Church 35 years or more, were
               presented with a beautiful etching of the Snow Hill
               Christian Church building (with the names of the recipients
               and years since baptism recorded at the bottom of the
               picture) by Keith E. Smith, minister. Prayers of
               rededication were given.

                       The Sunday School contributed a duplicating machine to
               the Church in 1976.

                       Different Sunday School classes sponsor a coffee hour
               at the close of the morning service on the first Sunday of
               each month.

                       After much deliberation, the Church adopted a new
               constitution on February 8, 1976.

                       In 1976, the Christian Women’s Fellowship started a
               fund for purchasing new hymnals.
