Fenwick Beach Shops for 31 years before retiring again at
age 81.
She loved to dance and give parties for her children. She
enjoyed entertaining family and friends at her home at
Swan Keys near Fenwick Island. Her greatest pleasure was
living near the beach.
The family wishes to personally thank Ms. Lillian Curry for
her absolute devotion to our beloved mother and
grandmother as well as the wonderful services of Delaware
Hospice for their compassionate care. In addition, she was
cared for by her granddaughters Carla Schwarz and Erin
Tieman.
Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m., at
Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St.,
Smyrna, Del., where friends may call at 10 a.m. Burial will
be in Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery, near Frederica, Del.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Delaware
Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901. Following
the services and burial, any flower arrangements will be
sent to the Delaware Home and Hospital for the
Chronically Ill.
