serving multiple churches over the years. She served
as a loving example of Christian servanthood.
She is survived by four sons, Gilbert F. “Bert”
Perdue, Jr., Johnny Perdue (Vickie), and Dean
Perdue, all of Snow Hill and Rodney Perdue (Mari) of
Bonita Springs, Florida; two grandchildren Raymond
Perdue, and Amanda Evans (Justin), of Snow Hill;
and three great grandchildren, Dylan Perdue of
Pocomoke and Grace and Oliver Evans of Snow Hill,
MD.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded
in death by her husband, Gilbert F. Perdue, Sr.; infant
children, Lola Virginia, Doris Ellen and Norman Roy
Perdue; two sisters Hazel Justice and Norma Taylor;
one brother Ralph Hickman; one daughter-in-law,
Terilyn Perdue and one grandson, Shaun Perdue.
A family graveside service of Christian Burial will
be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 4, 2021
in the Mount Olive United Methodist Church
