       HISTORY & ART – THE HISTORY PLACE
       The History Place shares the story of the area’s past, as well as its
       most important features. The museum has gathered local artifacts
       throughout the years. Its Research Library has been judged to have
       “the best collection of Civil War and East Coast genealogies from
       Massachusetts on down.” The museum store offers local crafts and
       books. Free to the visiting public.
       Open Tues-Fri and the first Sat of each month, 10am-4pm.
