DIAGONAL LASHING
Diagonal lashing is used to join two diagonal poles or spars that
can be used to brace a rectangular frame. The two poles don’t have
to be at 90 degrees. The location of one diagonal in front and one
behind explains the gap between the poles commonly found in the
centre.
1 Position the two poles at a diagonal angle, they don't have to be at right
angles. Lay the line under the poles.
POSSIBLE USES?
• Securing poles or spars at odd angles.
• Building light structural frameworks.
