I hope you’ve all had some time to enjoy the great spring weather we’ve been having. It’s been a joy spending time outside with the goats and dogs (if only more time were available!).
It was good to see many members at the spring meeting (which seems a long time ago already !), as always, it was a day of sharing and learning in like minded company, thoroughly enjoyable. My thanks to all involved in its organisation and support.
We now look forward to our Autumn meeting in Lewes - 19th and 21st September. Details are now in the members area of the website and I look forward to another stimulating meeting. Thanks to Tim Couzens for his organisation of the event.
It’s good to see that the Faculty are making efforts to attract more veterinary members. I would personally love to see new and younger vets joining us here and aiming for Faculty membership. We would welcome all ideas that may encourage our younger colleagues to at the very least, open their minds to a holistic approach.
Related to this, we are busily reviewing the current courses available for veterinary professionals. If anyone has suggestions about ways to make the courses both attractive to our colleagues and valuable learning experiences, these will all be very welcome. I would particularly like to hear the thoughts of those who are integrating homeopathy into general practice.
We now have an RVN Licentiate of the Faculty and she is working on publishing examples of formal nursing care plans including homeopathy. If anyone has “real life” examples from their practice and is willing to share these, please send them to me at holistic@towerwoodvets.co.uk.
