Dott. Bertani was refreshingly compassionate and philosophical. He said that with intense farming the rumen, which is the organ of patience as it must digest hay, decreases in size and the abomasum, which is the organ of impatience as it digests the feed (grain, sileage), increases in size. He also said that formerly, when every household had a cow, they met a constant reminder of the present and the ancestral feeling and the nature and sense of life. And he said that animals live according to the rhythm of nature, where only what is essential has value, and therefore when we live with them, we also feel this. But sadly, this is dying out. In his words, the cow, holder of patience, has disappeared.
I can’t help but reflect on how true this is of our modern world.
With his treatment, he saw decrease in traumas and “Technopathies,” increase in average age of animals, a decrease in veterinary interventions, and the introduction of grazing for all non-milking animals. A real revolution and improvement in life quality. His compassion for the animals under his care was inspiring. He dedicated the lecture to a poor cow who was fine but was euthanized at a very young age due to technical issues making her unfit to be part of a dairy system, more or less. This was very touching. Tragic really.
He also has a cow repertory, presumably in Italian.
Dr. Andreas Strietzel from Germany also presented on dairy cattle medicine in the modern world with homeopathy and proper feeding and care, which is especially important in the face of so much machine interaction with the cattle, even to the point of machines assessing health. He also said that “the cow and her microbes have a need for regular rhythms” and also that the microbes in the gut need the same pH over the day.
Thus, one of his guides for farmers is to promote the synchronicity of the herd and take the rhythm into account. One tactic is to initially observe the herd only, rather than immediately assessing via direct intervention, so you do not disturb the cows and their rhythm. He also has a card system, called Obsalim, which is a simplified tool for use in repertorizing, like Boger’s card repertory in a way, but these cards are designed to take three symptoms from three points to arrive at the simillimum.
Dra. Coral Mateo Sanchez, of Spain discussed miasms and how animals can get out of balance, and again rhythm is important in her view. Basically, she said that the main “clock” is located in the hypothalamus, but that all cells have clocks. The pineal gland coordinates multiple aspects of physiology. Additionally, each organ has it’s own clock as well as the cells inside the organs, and all must be synchronized and adjusted daily. But “when the director loses the tempo, everything gets out of adjustment, and then all of the clocks go different tempos. What can alter the tempo, she asked? Vaccinations and intoxications, alterations of the rhythm of the body.
And as initially observed by Dr. Rudolph Steiner and the anthroposophical medical practitioners, she reports that children with childhood diseases came out healthier and stronger. Thus, these are “friendly diseases,” and with vaccines we no longer have these friendly diseases. The vaccines oblige the body to react, and sometimes to multiple organisms, and this can break the rhythm of the body, as in nature, the body reacts in a rhythmic or systematic way.
And she said, “when me wake enemies of pathogens which are not really our enemies, we make ourself into Carcinosin. For her, Thuja comes up first for aggravation from vaccines, while Carcinosin is second, but that Carcinosin, as a nosode,
has priority. Additionally, as it is not well represented in the repertory, its prominence is not as visible.
So when you feel that life and time are getting out of hand, put down that mobile phone and remember the patient cows, living in accordance with the rhythms of Mother Earth. Mobile phones and all EMFs compete with the natural rhythms of the earth.
Better yet, use chicken therapy, cattle therapy, and so on. Just sit with these animals and take in their patience as they live their lives (assuming they are in a natural environment). Sit there until you lose your impatience.
