CAMP LEJEUNE CHAPTER
#329, (Denny Norris, Secretary)
At our February 6, 2023,
meeting, Camp LeJeune Chapter
had the pleasure of initiating
Most Worshipful Bro. Kevan
Frazier, Grand Master of
Masons in North Carolina into
our Chapter. This event was
also our annual “Blue Lodge
Night”, during which we
recognized the Worshipful
Masters and Wardens in our
district. Bro. Harry Sanders,
Blue Lodge Night, February, 2023 Legion of Honor and Past
National President conducted a
beautiful “Colonial Ladies at the Table” ceremony, which everyone quite enjoyed. All military Veterans
present were honored, and the evening ended with everyone singing “God Bless America”.
GEN. ROBERT F. TRAVIS CHAPTER #409 (James D. Westfall,
Secretary) Our Chapter, located in Oakland, California was represented by
Brother James ‘Jim” Westfall, walked the U.S. flag halfway across the San
Francisco Golden Gate Bridge’s 1.7-mile length. He had received the
handoff from the approaching bicyclist and walked the remaining 3/4 mile
to the next participant as part of the Old Glory Relay. The Old Glory Relay
is a commitment of American veterans to carry and pass along a single
American flag, taking 50 days and covering more than 4,000 miles, from
Seattle, WA to Atlanta, GA. The Old Glory Relay is all about showing our
nation’s veterans that their best days are ahead, through a strong focus on
health and wellness. This article was written by Bro. Bruce A. Rick.
